Shaundelle Brooks has been at the capitol fighting for a safer and better Tennessee for the last 6 years. Shaundelle lost her son, Akilah Dasilva, in the tragic Waffle House shooting in 2018. She turned that pain into activism. We are rooting for her win because we trust her to fight to protect all of our babies here in Tennessee no matter what age.
