Each kit includes 1 faux leather adhesive strip to fit the "salad and fries" canvas, 1 gold clip, and 1 key ring.
How to assemble your key fob:
- Stitch the 3 row border on either side of the design (where the pink is on your canvas) in regular basketweave or continental stitches. It needs to be thin enough to fit into the clamp.
- Trim your canvas close to your border.
- Fold your canvas over so that you can see one row of pink in the front, one row of pink on the edge, and one row of pink in the back.
- Take the leather strip, peel off the backing paper, and place it on top of your folded canvas in the back so that you can only see the stitched edges on either side. You may have to trim your leather strip if you've made a thicker border. It's very easy to cut. Press firmly.
- Fold your canvas in half so that you can see "salad" on one side and "& fries" on the other and work both ends into the key fob's clamp.
- Cover the gold clamp with a towel and gently press the clamp together using pliers or whatever tool you have around the house. The towel just protects the gold material from getting scratched. The teeth of the clamp should now be securely holding the ends of your key fob.
- Attach your key ring, and you're finished!
